      A:    Yes

 

Are there any PEAK Camp rules?

    1. No pets allowed
    2. There is a "lights out" policy.
    3. It is a green camp on an organic farm so any garbage you bring or create you must leave with.
    4. Campers must leave the facilities as clean as they found them etc.

Room & Board

      Q:    Am I required to bring my own bedding or will the PEAK Camps provide bedding?

      A:    Camp participants are required to bring their own bedding, or you may rent bedding from the PEAK Camps.

      Q:    What bedding is available for rent?

      A:    Sheets and blankets.

      Q:    What is the cost of renting sheets and blankets?

      A:    $7.00

      Q:    Are the sleeping facilities co-ed?

      A:    Yes

      Q:    Is food included in the cost of the camp?

      A:    Yes, but please talk to the camp director for additional information.

      Q:    Is there a T.V. at the PEAK Camps?

      A:    Yes

      Q:    Is there wireless service available?

      A:    Yes

      Q:    Can I do laundry at the PEAK Camps?

      A:    No, but there are coin operated washers and dryers at the local Pittstop.

      A:    Yes

      A:    Yes

Camps

      Q:    How many camps are scheduled for the 2009 season?

      A:    26 PEAK camps.

      Q:    If I live locally can I still participate in the camp and not stay overnight?

      A:    Yes. Please contact individual camp directors for additional information.

      Q:    What does the cost of a camp include?

      A:    Each camp is different but general costs cover: 1 dinner, lodging, and insurance.

      Q:    Does each camp have a guest speaker?

      A:    Each camp is different. Please contact individual camp directors for additional information.

      Q:    What am I required to bring to the camp?

      A:    Bedding, and whatever the camp director requires. Please contact individual camp directors for additional information.

      Q:    What camp items are available for rent?

      A:    Bikes, Kayaks, Yoga mats, Tents, and much more, but please contact individual camp directors for additional information.

      Q:    Is there a shuttle available?

      Q:    Can I request an airport or train station pick up to and from the camp?

The Town

      Q:    Are there local restaurants where I can buy food?

      A:    Yes, the Original General Store (www.theoriginalgeneralstore.com) is less than a mile and a half away. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      Q:    Is there a local convenience store where I can buy bathroom amenities such as toothpaste?

      A:    Yes, bathroom amenities can be purchased at the Original General Store (www.theoriginalgeneralstore.com) and The Pittstop Gas Station.

      Q:    What local businesses are in town?

      A:    There are Bed and Breakfasts, Inns, a General Store that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (with a Wine Cellar), A Gas Station and A Pizzeria.

      Q:    What local transportation is available?

      A:    There is the Rutland Airport, Lebanon Airport and Middlebury Airport. Additionally, there is a local car rental service and an Amtrak Train Station. Please contact individual camp directors for additional information.
